Bath time pictures are always so silly. He loves being goofy in the tub, it is always so much fun. And such a handsome boy. I made the executive decision to get deklen and i some fish today. I have this small two gallon tank as well as a large 15 or 20 gallon tank. i decided the maintenance and cleaning on the small one would be best for now. I just got five young white cloud mountain minnows. These ones do not have much color yet, but as they get older they will get more red on their fins and tails. They are cold water or warm water so i don't have to put in my heater as they actually do better in cooler water and get brighter in color.
I will quit my day job, raise baby fish and sell them to the pet stores for stock. That is my plan.........i wish. That would be sooo much fun if i could make money at it. Oh well I'll just try to keep these alive for now.

Well, we went for a visit at my parents house as uncle bob was in town for a day. Deklen wasn't as shy as I thought he would be. He gave uncle bob two hugs and told him a few stories as well. On the way out to my parents i explained to deklen he was going to be there and he tried to say uncle bob a few times. the closest he got was a mumbled bob bob bob. But not too bad.

And of course papa teasing deklen. What else is so much fun?
And deklens new love. BIG BEARS (or dogs) but he calls them all bears. And this is the first thing he has ever named on his own. He calls the bears "bean" Yes you ask what the bears name is and he tells you bean. I have no idea where he got it from, but its sure cute.

Renovations, renovations, renovations. Yes a little project every other weekend it seems. But the house is looking better and better all the time. Last weekend dad and i tackled installing a new tub tap. I had to stick with the same style as we were not about to run new pipe and cut tile, and this is the ONLY style available, but it's better than what was in there. If you look we also replaced the overflow and drain - all nice shiny, clean, chrome.OK, you may have to look hard - OLD TOILET and cabinet hardware.
You may ask why the new toilet? This one looks fine. I wont elaborate, but it would not come clean and always lookd dirty. And let me tell you i am glad i only have one toilet to replace as it was not very pleasant to replace a 30 year old toilet. New toilet and cabinet hardware.

Well all went well so far. I have put deklen in his own toddler bed sunday night but the bed is still in my room. He whined and fell asleep in 20 minutes on his own. Monday night he just laid down without a peep and went to sleep in about 15 mins. LAst night he played a bit with a train in bed but fell asleep in about 15 mins. But i am surprised he does not try to get out of bed at all. And last night he slep through with out getting up. He slept from 8:30 till 6:30. Ahhhh i feel somewhat rested. And this is how he woke up - Quite the bedhead.

Well, this was the best shot i think i got of deklen this year. He wasnt much for sitting there at all and it wasnt fun for more than two minutes tops. Yup, this was the other three minutes of my five minute total picture taking episode. Fun for everyone. Not.But Christmas day was fantastic and fun. First deklen opened a present with me at home and he loves it, as he is attached to buzz on the tv. And he got chocolate and wow was that something good.And who could forget my puppies? Sooooo cute and love Christmas as much as us, presents and all.

Deklen supervised his cousins riding the mini skidoos. These were ones that my sister, brother and i would ride when we were little, papa kept them and gave them a tune up and now the grandkids are having a blast with them. Deklen was taking pointers for next year.

Deklen loves his cousins and misses them as soon as they went back to edmonton.
