Ok, one guess what this face is for. LMAO. Yup, he got into the bum cream. It was fun until i had to take the pictures and then he was all done.

Finger painting is one of his most favorite things.

And lounging around. Yes he wedges himself like this to watch tv. Or just crawls ontop of the auttoman and lays there to watch wally. Yes wally all day, if i would let him. Or toy story, He loves buzz lightyear and woody.

Wow. ok. cleaned my kitchen and found the camera cord i thought i left at work. OOps. so here are a few pictures of my ongoing reno's and i had to put one of my boy too. what a cutie. his big thing now is to help me unload the silverware from the dishwasher. he will take it out of the dishwasher and go over to the drawer and throw it in. what a big helper. My laundryroom is still a work in progress. above the old color of dirty yellow, which was the color of the whole house. Yuck. Below i have painted it light pink and smoky blue cabinets. Yes kinda wierd, but whatever. I have yet to install new baseboards, paint the floor and hand cutsie pink / blue something for curtains. (once i get to go in to fabricland for material)

And here my was ugly front door.

VOILA! Awesome. New glass insert and new paint. Soooo much better. Dad and i cut out the door to fit the new glass i primed and painted it and done. It is so much nicer to have this in the front entry, it lets in so much light as there is no window by there it was kinda dark and dingy. not anymore.

Deklen and papa and i went into the back pasture to have a look and deklen picked this flower.

Ok, here is my side yard beside the garage to the back alley. It had a few broken patio stones down the side and weeds. But Dad helped me this weekend to get a load of pea gravel to put here. This is the dogs area now as i have fenced off the grass so they have no choice. Zoe actually didnt even hesitate to do her business on the gravel oskar held it a little longer. Notice i pulled the ugly bush at the bottom of the picture and replaced it with my planter and my lucky dragon. MUCH nicer. Deklen and i had a movie night on saturday. He curls up in the blanket nana made him and watches movies with me.

Well, all moved in and settled into my wonderful new home. i painted the whole main floor from all the ceiligs to every wall. and my mom and sister helped soooo much i would have never finished without their help. Also my dad has been here everyday fixing and installing for me. once i get internet at home i will post pictures of before and after, but it is feeling like home and did quite quickly. ill post more as i can but there wont be much for a few months.

Well, i caught some badness on video. He finds this funny and even when you say no he laughs. He will grab anything and wave it at the dogs and they flinch and or run and most of the time play as well. But he is doing it a lot and now this. He did not find it funny as after this i said no more books and gathered them all up and put them up on the counter, he whined and reached for the books tho to no avail. apperently that one had some effect. i keep laughing everytime i watch this. what a turkey.

Well, deklen has found he absolutely loves books. He loves the picture books and learning the words. He will drag over a book and plop himself into your lap. He will point to different things and you tell him what it is. Then you can ask him later where is the cow? and he will usually find it on the page. It is nice to see he is taking a liking to reading and books in general like his mom.
I also feel it is important to teach him and have him learn instead of just feeding him sugar and junkfood and wind him up for the afternoon. I have been trying to find more learning type of toys as that is what deklen seems to be enjoying now. Although there are way to many loud obnoxious toys that are out there that are looked at for five minutes then ignored and given away to the salvation army. Ah well off this weekend to more garage sales and buy some educational toys and more books for my learning baby boy

Deklen is finally starting to imitate words these last few days. This morning it was uh oh. Funny as it sometimes comes out as oh uh.

Poor little Zoe. She will do anything and put up with anything as long as she gets the attention. After being mauled by deklen you can see that no, she does not turn and run away as fast as her little feet can carry her, but she turns back to deklen for more of his "love". She is such a good girl with him. Oskar on the other hand grumbles and runs away just out of reach of deklens hands, and deklen also thinks this a game and spends endless time chasing him around the island.

My New house to be. OK, 1/2 Duplex to be. Not sure how i feel about that one now. And my little princess. On Sunday we had a "girls" afternoon and i gave her a too short haircut and shampoo and condition and even a pretty pedicure in PINK! She is so patient. Any attention is good attention.

My new purse and i love it. I had an aweful weekend and decided to try to make myself feel better by buying this as i have wanted one for awhile. The covers come off as they are magnetic and take literally 2 seconds to change out. I also upgraded to the chain type straps to get a bit of extra length

And a picture of my baby boy and his shoe fetish. For a few weeks everytime i put shoes on him he would cry and stand in the same spot. He Loves shoes now and puts any on and tries to walk around.

I. LOVE. GARAGE. SALES. Did i ever mention that. Well today was the airdrie city wide garage sale and i picked up EVERYTHING i wanted and needed. WOW.

I got one kid bean bag, and deklen LOVES it he kept doing belly flops into it all day. soooo great. $2.00. Yahoo.
I also got a bed rail with a nightlight for deklen for the big bed for $2.


One Toddler bed He is not quite ready for it but at $25 it is great.

AND last but not least, i think i know one family member who might be able to use this. I have (of course) tried it all out and it all works AWESOME. If said family member does not want it i can always sell it on kijiji. As i wont say a price but it wasn't any more expensive than my other items! What a buy!

My big Boo Boo. silly mommy took me to the doctors office today for my eczema and allergic reaction on my ankles. And while playing in the exam room waiting for the doctor to come in i stumble and fall smoking my head on the corner of the metal chair. I split my skin wide open and blood everywhere. It should heal well though as it is right in my eyebrow. Good thing we were in the dr. office as mommy was really upset. I was a good boy though as the dr. cleaned me up all i did was quietly watch and after he put the tape on i gave him a big smile. It was so cute.

It is probably a good thing this happened in the doctors office, as it being deklens first major cut / bump and soon to be black eye. I think i may have to give him a hockey helmet with a face mask and a suit made of bubble wrap.
Just makin sure my medicine does not go far, as my head hurts tonight. Owww.

Deklen has now started to help himself. He loves rice krispies and will go into the pantry and get the container out and drag it to me and shake it at me and whine. He loves them. The Baby face with the puppy dog eyes, Who could resist this?

The look on his face is like "Sheesh mom, come on already!"

Ahhh i love tommy hilfiger. Good thing karlynn has passed down the majority of kades clothes to deklen. Most of it being tommy. But i did splurge a bit at the outlet store yesterday and bought him a new pair of jeans, and they are soooo cute!

Deklen has figured that he does not like the feel of grass on his hands. So when he falls down he basically whines until you pick him up.

Ah, i forgot about this one. It was awhile ago, the stuff i make him eat, although it is only babyfood. I think it was pears. LOVE the shudder at the end as he gags it down.

Happy, Happy, Happy. I had an old but nice, small efficent makita "Girlie" Cordless drill. And the battery finally had it. THe poor drill was well used by the time i FOUND it. i had to buy a generic charger for it, and used it for about six years. it even helped build our fence in the backyard. It even was left outside on the deck for three or four days in the rain, and no problem! But i had to give up on it as they no longer make batteries for it unless i special order for who knows how much! So i got suckered into buying this set. &169.00
New Lithium Ion batteries with LIFETIME warranty. The thing i had problems with as they now make cordless drills with large battery packs at the base so they stand up. That bugs me and it is so big and clunky it doesn't fit into small areas, and is not very manuverable. Thus calling it a girlie drill i didnt want to lose Power, or Torque but wanted a smaller overall size. And these are nice and small. Now i am looking to use them anywhere!
