So last weekend deklen,nana, papa and i went up to edmonton to have a family birthday party for deklen. We took the kids for some pictures with a fried of karlynns and i cannot wait till i get them, they will be so cute. So we went to galaxyland and deklen had a lot of fun on the rides and didnt once complain about getting off them.And after a few rides he was exhausted and it was nap time. He looks so casual and cute.

HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY DEKLEN!!Out of the wonderful ones and into the terrific twos.
This spiderman backpack was deklens gift this morning. Maryanne at the dayhome said he did not put it down all day, where he went the bag went.
And his presents when we got home, yes Spiderman PJ's. this is why he did not get them this morning as he would have had to wear them all day.
And i got him his own tools. He always wants to "fix it" he says. We go into the garage and he runs to the tool box and keeps saying"I fix it" So now he can help momma fix.

Deklen loves sharks right now, so his very first pair of rubber boots.
Mr. helper this afternoon, 
And jeez, if you enlarge the picture you will see the green sprouts are coming up everywhere. I have never had anything in my garden pop up this early, even crocuses. I am not complaining, i am excited to see what pops up in my NEW yard this spring. it's like a slow surprise, and i can't wait, i keep looking in the dirt every few days.
And of course deklen needs to explore our small but sufficent yard. it's small, but it is ALL MINE ; )
