Well, i have a new video camera and it is super duper fantastic. It also takes pictures, does video montages with music and all sorts of fancy things. Thanks sooooo much mom and dad! So lots of videos coming, just to warn you.....

Halloween 2010. Deklen really had fun and has been dressing up as spiderman for the last two months, so he has been ready. He did really well saying thanks and "trick or treat"Running from house to house with his loot. Posing on the neighbors step.

Soon as he got in the house he unloaded his bag on the step and got into the smarties.

Another project crossed off the list. See the Beautiful cedar outside my house , see the next picture that shows that it is dying? So dad cut it down and we pulled it out. At least it was a good excuse for dad to get out his chainsaw and use it.

Now my house is very bare. I need to come up with a good plan to make it look nice, or nice-er. Maybe pull out the shrub on the right that is just a bunch of sticks year round? I'll have to see come spring, but i'll probably plant the same thing on the left, tear out the woody shrub and replace it with a globe cedar.

Wow, its been a bit since last post, but all is well so far. Poor Oskar had surgery again but is recovering well right now. Two more weeks and i can rest easier after that. In the pictures below you can see his poor stomach where the staples are. He is a bit peppier today and even though he seems to be scowing in the picture below, he is quite happy.
Papa recently had deklen for the day and found that deklen liked to wear a "cape" and soon as he put it on he would run and jump off furniture saying batman, batman. And the orange hat? it is supposed to be a pumpkin toque with green leaves at the top, but he likes it just as it is.
He completed his outfit at home with shark boots, and the matching tea towel.

Yes, below at the end of Iron Man there is the ACDC song hiway to hell? deklen likes to sing along to that, i over heard him and popped in with the camera quickly. I guess from now on i will be stopping it before the music comes on. He LOVES to sing along to any music.

Day two of holidays - Tuesday - Off to Heritage Park - i have never ever been there. It was a lot of fun. There are about 6 amusement rides. The whip below wich deklen liked alot. The caterpillar below which got covered while going with a green cover. He did not like this one at all, he did not cry, just whined saying" done, out" The paddle boat - nice out on the glenmore resivoir.

And a small movie of deklen on THE favourite ride. the merry go -round. Loved the horses we went on it 3 times.

And we had dads birthday this year in banff. We stayed in a condo for the saturday nite and had a great time. There were two hot pools and we soaked in those with the kids a few times, and everone went on the gondola, shopping and bought candy. I do not have many pictures as we were having too much fun.

Well, day one of holidays - Monday - ZOO day! And deklen had sooo much fun. He loved the hippos the most and they had just fed them in the morning, so they were out and eating. Deklen and ruby were feeding the birds bread (as were all the other kids) and the birds went behind the fence. The kids loved the gorillas.

Fish tanks were cool too!

Deklen liked the ducks.

Deklen has started swimming lessons. This was his first time in a pool since 10 months old.
First, we started out in this pool before the lesson, and deklen did not even want to walk into it, he actually ran away half crying. So i carried him in on me and i sat down with him on my lap as i was struggling for air as he was choking me. Seriously, he was hanging on so tight it was restricting my breathing. Then i told him it was like a bath and he started to relax.
And kim and alexis are in the background, she asked me to take lessons with her, and i am glad i am going, it was a lot of fun.


We would sing the frog song and they would push off into the water into our arms. Deklen was just getting the hang of it by the end.
Going around the lazy river, it has a current that carries you along it. Going throought the waterfall.

Picture is a bit dark, but it is cute. Deklen did have a lot of fun and the pool was warm.

My surprise flowers this year, i love it. I have about four different patches of lilly's and i think two are this peach color which are so pretty.

And these whatever they are are dainty but pretty.

Well, i can hear the words" OHHHHHHH thats dangerous" coming out of my mothers mouth as she sees this. But really he could hurt himself running around in my small yard by running and falling and cracking his head on a brick. or falling and spraining his wrist. So he cannot jump too high and he loves it and it's fully contained.

When he wants to go in it he says "bounce?" and goes running.

Well Thanks karlynn, for the hours of endless entertainment for my son. He LOVES the new kitchen as he wants to always, always help me when I cook. In the below video he is actually saying Syrup to put on the pizza he calls all sauce syrup. On the pretend phone also he was calling you and asking for ivy and uncle mike. And as i write this i hear him calling hunnnnnnnngry? and he brings me a pan with some food for me to eat. Funny boy.

And a Bee costume he has taken a liking to.

And I also got the sandbox set up for deklen today, and of course i cannot keep him out of it. He loves this too.

So my Auntie Janice stopped in on her way to lethbridge on friday. And my cousin cody as well. Buncha Cute kids. I can see three urbanoski noses quite distinctly though its funny.And of course my busy weekend. These are my dirty, scum,dirt,shingle filled gutters (it was like an inch deep) before -The cleaning process. My helping hand even looks calm and cool while working. Thanks Soooo much dad!And after! yaay, i am hoping they will not be so weighted down anymore and cleaner is always better! And My small patio I could not get completed due to no stock on the patio blocks i needed.

OK, Another purchase, but not for me , i bought it for deklen....... Sort of.
I did not go to wal mart or Canadian tire but our local cycle shop in airdrie. CRANKED. They were very knowledgeable, understanding of my totally stupid questions, made me understand the which is better and why and were also very cute. So that helped in my decision. They fit me to a bike, adjusted the handlebars, seat, did a full check on the "bike hoist" (holds the bike in the air by the frame) of brakes, and chain and such. I also get a one year warranty and a full one year inspection and adjustment (value of $80.) So here it is. YAAAY I just Need it to stop snowing now. The reason it is for deklen is that i will be towing the chariot for a year or two or three. Then when deklen decides to ride his own bike i can also ride along with him. No way i am being left behind. So all in all it is for fun with my son, and that is what matters.

What a difference Great dirt makes to flowers! This shooting star i had in my old flowerbed for 3 years in a what i thought was ok dirt. Well here at my new house its magic dirt.
The most i got out of this plant was one year i got one stalk of flowers. And i thought that was good. After being transplanted twice it still managed to bloom and look at all the stalks of flowers coming!
And my pretty tulip - i just love the color.
